Chollas Creek Oak Park Trail
This project will create a 2.3-mile multi-use recreation and active transportation pathway. This trail will extend from Sunshine Bernardini Park on the southwest side of the project following Chollas Creek up to the intersection of Chollas Parkway and 54th Street on the northeast side. These enhancements will include the construction of two bridges, informative kiosks to enrich the visitor experience, and strategically placed directional signs for ease of navigation.

The park will be developed on a triangular parcel surrounded by Chollas Parkway, 54th Street, and University Avenue. The project will vacate Chollas Parkway between University Avenue and 54th Street to allow for the park's development. Park amenities will include active and passive uses such as children's play areas, walking paths, flexible turf areas, a community event space, and picnic areas.

Dr. Bertha O. Pendleton Neighborhood Park Improvements
This project provides for the design and construction of improvements at the existing Dr. Bertha O. Pendleton Neighborhood Park. Proposed improvements include playground with integrated shade sails, fitness stations, dog park, comfort station, shade structure, demonstration garden, security lighting, asphalt track, and other park amenities.

New Oak Park Library
The vision for this library facility includes a large community room, children and teen areas, study rooms, a computer area and well-developed exterior spaces. The new facility will allow for expanded programs and services, including the "Do Your Homework at the Library" program, music and art events, room for used book sales, nature studies, STEAM projects, IDEA Lab, and other creative projects. The unique location on College Grove Drive will provide a view of the San Diego skyline. Adding to the natural beauty of the Chollas Lake area, this new library will create exciting opportunities for all.

Streamview Dr Improvements Phase 2
This project provides for the installation of roundabouts, new raised medians, new sidewalks including curbs and gutters, Class II bike lanes, landscaping, including trees on Streamview Drive from 54th Street to Michael St and on Streamview Drive from Gayle St to College Ave.

University Bikeway
The University Bikeway will be 2.9 miles
and will run along Estrella Avenue, between Orange Avenue and University Avenue, and along University Avenue, between Estrella Ave and 70th Street.
Project features include separated
bikeways, buffered bike lanes, high-visibility treatments, and protected intersections designed to make the streets more pleasant and safer for everyone.
