 Notice of Election

The Eastern Area Communities Planning Committee (EACPC) will hold its annual election of board members on Tuesday, March 10, starting at 6 pm at Teen Challenge, 5450 Lea St, San Diego, CA 92105, just before and during the regular March meeting of the EACPC.


Election Process

Eligible voters can cast ballots at this location from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. All voting is by secret ballot and must be done in person at 5450 Lea St.


To be eligible to vote, you must:

  • Rent or own a home within the Eastern Area Communities Planning Area, or
  • Own property within the Eastern Area Communities Planning Area, or
  • Operate a business located in the Eastern Area  Communities Planning Area.


Eligibility to vote may be established by presenting an ID, utility bill, lease, deed, or other document that shows the address within the Eastern Area Communities Planning Area. Alternatively, a voter may sign a form attesting to their eligibility and provide the address within the Eastern Area Communities Planning Area. 


Once eligibility is established, a voter will receive a printed ballot containing instructions and the list of all candidates to select from. After selecting the candidates of their choice, each voter will deposit their ballot in the ballot box. 

Once voting ends at 8:00 pm., the ballots will be counted by the Election Subcommittee. The results of the votes will be provided to the Chairperson to announce the successful candidates to the public by the end of the March meeting.

Welcome to the Eastern Area Communities Planning Committee (EACPC)! 


EACPC is a community planning group that advocates for the six communities of El Cerrito, Oak Park, Redwood Village, Rolando, Rolando Park, and Webster.


EACPC is officially recognized by the City of San Diego to represent community interests and provide advisory recommendations to the City on land use projects and services for our communities. We advocate for our communities with the goal of growing smart and in solidarity with Eastern Area interests.


EACPC welcomes all community members to attend our monthly meetings every second Tuesday at 7:00 pm at Teen Challenge, 5450 Lea St, San Diego, 92105, or online via Zoom. Public comment is always welcome.
