 Call for Candidates

The Eastern Area Communities Planning Committee’s (EACPC) annual election is coming up in March and we’re seeking candidates to run for seats on our committee.
Two candidates are running for re-election and we have vacancies in Rolando Park (1), Oak Park (3), and Webster (1), plus 1 Business Representative vacancy.

Email RVCC_SD@outlook.com as soon as possible for more information. All candidates for the election must declare by February 24th.

  • To run for a seat on the board, you must –
    Be at least 18 years old, and
  • Either rent a home, own a home, own property, or own a business located in the Eastern Area Communities Planning Committee area.

  • Rolando
  • Redwood Village
  • Rolando Park
  • Oak Park
  • Webster

EACPC is officially recognized by the City of San Diego to represent community interests and provide advisory recommendations to the City on land use projects and services for our communities. We advocate for our communities with the goal of growing smart and in solidarity with Eastern Area interests.

Welcome to the Eastern Area Communities Planning Committee (EACPC)! 


EACPC is a community planning group that advocates for the six communities of El Cerrito, Oak Park, Redwood Village, Rolando, Rolando Park, and Webster.


EACPC is officially recognized by the City of San Diego to represent community interests and provide advisory recommendations to the City on land use projects and services for our communities. We advocate for our communities with the goal of growing smart and in solidarity with Eastern Area interests.


EACPC welcomes all community members to attend our monthly meetings every second Tuesday at 7:00 pm at Teen Challenge, 5450 Lea St, San Diego, 92105, or online via Zoom. Public comment is always welcome.
